Starting or Jump-starting a Biz? 6 Metrics To Manage

Whether you are starting or re-starting a business (web or otherwise), here is a list of stats that matter:

  1. cost to acquire a customer
  2. viral co-efficient (for every customer, how many new customers do you obtain?  Can you back these stats up with your social media analytics?)
  3. attrition rate
  4. revenue per visit
  5. visits per period
  6. value of a customer over the life you expect to keep them

While this list is certainly not all-inclusive, if you are not thinking about these things ahead of time and measuring and managing them ongoingly, you are missing an opportunity affect factors that make all the difference.
